AECPHC

Independent tropical-cyclone analysis for the Eastern and Central Pacific

AECPHC combines current official observations with original three-hourly forecasts, uncertainty cones, satellite imagery and plain-language discussion. Forecast points are valid at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21Z.

What AECPHC is

Aertherwatch Eastern and Central Pacific Hurricane Coverage is an independent project covering tropical cyclones across the Eastern and Central Pacific.

How forecasts work

Official NHC and CPHC observations are the starting point, with JTWC and NRL used as supplementary sources where relevant. AECPHC tracks, cones, monitored areas and discussions are original products and are labeled separately.

One community space

General comments and ideas for improving AECPHC share one page with separate tabs, so the site does not duplicate two forums.

Important safety note

AECPHC is unofficial and must never replace warnings from the NHC, CPHC, National Weather Service or local authorities.
